Many of you already knit and/or crochet for various charities, while many of you have inquired about starting to contribute your talents to this worthy cause. Imagiknit is going to make knitting and/or crocheting for charity even easier. 

There are now  two baskets located by the front door of Imagiknit. The first basket will be for yarn that anyone wants to donate, whether it is left over yarn from projects or full skeins. I know that we all have left over yarn stuck between seat cushions, hidden in various bags, and even in cupboards. Imagiknit will also be donating yarn into this box. The second basket will be for the completed projects.

As you complete a project, please bring it into Imagiknit and place it in the basket. We will be keeping a sheet of who completes what project. At the end of the year, the individual that has completed the most projects will win a prize. The prize is a secret !!!

The charities that will benefit from your generosity are Shepherd’s House and Haven of Hope.    Shepherd’s House is an organization that helps the homeless, and Haven of Hope is for battered women. These are two local charities that are thrilled to be a part of this program.
